Shipping & Delivery Policy
Review the Shipping & Delivery Policy that govern your use of the NGOBazaar Platform.
1. Introduction
This Shipping & Delivery Policy ("Policy") explains how products purchased through NGOBazaar, an online multi-vendor marketplace operated by NGOFeed Digital Solution Private Limited ("NGOBazaar", "Platform", "Marketplace", "Company", "we", "our", or "us"), are processed, shipped, tracked, and delivered.
NGOBazaar connects customers with independent sellers offering products through the Marketplace.
Orders may be fulfilled by the applicable seller and delivered through third-party logistics or courier service providers facilitated by NGOBazaar or otherwise authorized for the transaction.
This Policy should be read together with the:
- Terms of Service;
- Marketplace Terms;
- Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy;
- Privacy Policy;
- Grievance Redressal Policy; and
- any product-specific delivery information displayed on NGOBazaar.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights available to consumers under applicable Indian law.
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to physical products purchased through the NGOBazaar customer Marketplace that require shipment or delivery.
It covers:
- order processing;
- seller preparation;
- packaging;
- shipment creation;
- shipping charges;
- logistics providers;
- pickup;
- dispatch;
- shipment tracking;
- estimated delivery;
- delivery attempts;
- failed deliveries;
- Return-to-Origin (RTO);
- damaged or tampered shipments;
- lost shipments;
- delayed shipments; and
- delivery-related customer support.
Different delivery conditions may apply to particular products, locations, sellers, or delivery services.
3. Marketplace Fulfillment Model
NGOBazaar operates as a multi-vendor marketplace.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products available through NGOBazaar may be offered and fulfilled by independent third-party sellers.
The seller is generally responsible for:
- maintaining inventory;
- confirming eligible orders;
- selecting the correct product;
- preparing the order;
- packaging the product appropriately;
- providing required shipment information;
- preparing the shipment for pickup; and
- handing the shipment to the designated logistics provider.
NGOBazaar may facilitate:
- shipment creation;
- logistics-provider integration;
- shipping-label generation;
- courier allocation;
- pickup coordination;
- tracking;
- delivery-status updates;
- return logistics; and
- customer support.
After the shipment is handed over, transportation and final delivery are generally performed by the applicable logistics provider.
4. Order Processing
After a customer successfully places an order, the order is communicated to the applicable seller for processing.
Order processing may include:
- payment confirmation where applicable;
- inventory verification;
- seller confirmation;
- product preparation;
- packaging;
- shipment creation;
- generation of shipping documentation;
- marking the shipment ready for pickup;
- pickup by the logistics provider; and
- transportation to the customer.
The exact processing sequence may vary depending upon the product, seller, payment method, location, and logistics provider.
5. Order Confirmation
Successful placement of an order does not necessarily mean that the product has already been shipped.
An order may initially be subject to:
- payment confirmation;
- seller confirmation;
- inventory availability;
- fraud or security checks;
- delivery serviceability; and
- other operational checks.
Customers may receive an order confirmation through supported communication channels.
6. Seller Processing Time
Sellers require reasonable time to prepare products before shipment.
Processing time may vary depending upon:
- product type;
- inventory availability;
- seller location;
- packaging requirements;
- product preparation requirements;
- weekends;
- public holidays;
- customized or made-to-order products; and
- other operational circumstances.
Where available, an estimated dispatch or delivery timeline may be displayed on the product page, checkout, order details, or tracking interface.
7. Made-to-Order, Handmade and Customized Products
Some products offered through NGOBazaar may be:
- handmade;
- handcrafted;
- made-to-order;
- personalized;
- customized;
- produced in small batches; or
- prepared after an order is received.
Such products may require additional processing time before dispatch.
Where a materially longer preparation period applies, NGOBazaar or the seller should make relevant information available to the customer before purchase or through appropriate order communications.
8. Packaging
Sellers are responsible for packaging products appropriately before handing them to the logistics provider.
Packaging should be reasonably suitable considering:
- product type;
- product dimensions;
- weight;
- fragility;
- transportation requirements;
- environmental conditions;
- applicable safety requirements; and
- applicable legal requirements.
Sellers should take reasonable measures to reduce the risk of damage during transportation.
9. Shipping Documentation
Shipments may contain or use documentation such as:
- shipping labels;
- airway bills or tracking identifiers;
- invoices where applicable;
- product declarations;
- regulatory documentation; and
- other documents required for transportation or delivery.
NGOBazaar may facilitate generation of certain shipping documents through its logistics systems.
10. Logistics Providers
NGOBazaar may use or integrate with third-party logistics providers, courier companies, shipping aggregators, postal services, or other delivery partners.
The specific logistics provider used for an order may depend upon factors such as:
- pickup location;
- delivery location;
- serviceability;
- shipment weight;
- shipment dimensions;
- product category;
- courier availability;
- delivery performance;
- cost;
- payment method; and
- other operational considerations.
NGOBazaar may change the logistics provider assigned to a shipment where reasonably necessary.
11. Serviceable Locations
Delivery availability depends upon logistics-provider serviceability.
A product may not be deliverable to every postal code or geographical location.
Serviceability may depend upon:
- seller pickup location;
- customer delivery PIN code;
- product category;
- package dimensions;
- package weight;
- payment method;
- regulatory restrictions;
- courier network availability; and
- other logistics considerations.
NGOBazaar may prevent checkout or cancel an order where delivery to the selected location is not reasonably available.
12. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Delivery information may include:
- recipient name;
- house, flat, building, or premises number;
- street or locality;
- landmark where useful;
- city;
- state;
- postal PIN code;
- mobile number; and
- other information reasonably necessary for delivery.
Customers should verify their delivery information before placing an order.
13. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
NGOBazaar and its logistics providers rely on the delivery information provided by the customer.
Delivery may fail or be delayed where the address is:
- incorrect;
- incomplete;
- outdated;
- inaccessible;
- associated with an incorrect PIN code; or
- otherwise insufficient for successful delivery.
Customers should contact NGOBazaar as soon as possible if they identify an address error after placing an order.
Address changes may not be possible after a shipment has been created or dispatched.
14. Change of Delivery Address
A customer may request a delivery-address change before shipment where operationally possible.
Once a shipment has been dispatched, changing the address may not be possible.
Whether an address change can be made depends upon:
- order status;
- seller status;
- logistics provider;
- original and new PIN codes;
- shipment routing; and
- operational feasibility.
NGOBazaar does not guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been placed.
15. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, where applicable, may depend upon factors such as:
- product;
- seller;
- package weight;
- package dimensions;
- pickup location;
- delivery location;
- logistics provider;
- delivery service;
- order value; and
- promotional offers.
Applicable shipping or delivery charges should be disclosed before the customer confirms the order.
16. Free Shipping
NGOBazaar or a seller may offer free shipping on eligible orders.
Free-shipping eligibility may depend upon:
- order value;
- product;
- seller;
- delivery location;
- promotion;
- customer eligibility; or
- other disclosed conditions.
Free-shipping offers may be subject to separate promotional terms.
17. Shipping Charges and Returns
Treatment of shipping charges following cancellation, failed delivery, or return will be governed by the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
Where a return results from a defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially misdescribed product, return-shipping costs will be handled in accordance with applicable Marketplace policy and legal requirements.
18. Estimated Delivery Date
NGOBazaar may display an estimated delivery date or delivery range.
The estimate may be calculated using factors including:
- seller processing time;
- seller pickup location;
- customer delivery location;
- logistics-provider service levels;
- product type;
- shipment route;
- weekends;
- public holidays; and
- historical or expected delivery performance.
Unless expressly guaranteed, displayed delivery dates are estimates rather than absolute guarantees.
19. Dispatch
An order is considered dispatched or shipped when it has entered the applicable logistics process and has been handed over or otherwise accepted for transportation by the logistics provider.
Customers may receive shipment information after dispatch.
This may include:
- shipment status;
- tracking number;
- courier information;
- tracking link or interface;
- estimated delivery information; and
- delivery updates.
20. Shipment Tracking
Where tracking is available, customers may track their shipment through:
- their NGOBazaar account;
- order details;
- a tracking interface;
- notifications;
- the applicable logistics provider; or
- another supported mechanism.
Tracking information is generally based upon status updates supplied by logistics providers.
There may occasionally be a delay between a physical shipment event and the corresponding tracking update.
21. Tracking Status
Shipment tracking may include statuses such as:
- shipment created;
- ready for pickup;
- picked up;
- in transit;
- reached delivery facility;
- out for delivery;
- delivery attempted;
- delivered;
- returned; or
- another logistics status.
The exact terminology may vary depending upon the logistics provider.
22. Delivery Communications
Customers may receive delivery-related communications through supported channels including:
- SMS;
- WhatsApp;
- email;
- telephone;
- Platform notifications; or
- logistics-provider notifications.
Communications may relate to:
- shipment creation;
- pickup;
- dispatch;
- tracking;
- expected delivery;
- out-for-delivery status;
- delivery attempts;
- successful delivery;
- failed delivery;
- return-to-origin; or
- other relevant shipment events.
23. Customer Availability
Customers or an authorized recipient should be reasonably available to receive the shipment at the delivery address.
The delivery agent may contact the customer using the contact information provided with the order.
Customers should not provide payment passwords, UPI PINs, card PINs, banking passwords, or unrelated OTPs to delivery personnel.
24. Delivery to an Authorized Recipient
A shipment may be delivered to the customer or another person reasonably available and authorized to receive the shipment at the delivery address, depending upon the delivery method.
This may include:
- family member;
- household member;
- office reception;
- security personnel;
- authorized representative; or
- another person authorized by the customer.
Customers should ensure that any authorized recipient can safely receive the order.
25. Proof of Delivery
Logistics providers may record proof of delivery.
Depending upon the delivery method and provider, this may include:
- delivery OTP;
- recipient confirmation;
- electronic acknowledgement;
- signature;
- delivery photograph where lawfully used;
- delivery scan;
- timestamp;
- location-related delivery record where lawfully collected; or
- another accepted delivery confirmation.
Such information may be used to investigate delivery disputes.
26. Delivery OTP
Certain shipments may require an OTP or verification code at the time of delivery.
Where a delivery OTP is used, customers should provide it only when appropriate for completing the delivery.
A delivery OTP should not be confused with:
- banking OTP;
- login OTP;
- UPI PIN;
- card PIN; or
- other financial authentication credentials.
NGOBazaar or its delivery partners should not require customers to disclose banking passwords or payment PINs to complete delivery.
27. Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery ("COD") may be available for eligible products, sellers, customers, and delivery locations.
COD availability may depend upon:
- product value;
- seller;
- customer location;
- logistics-provider support;
- order history;
- risk controls; and
- other operational considerations.
NGOBazaar may restrict or disable COD where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention or operational reasons.
28. Cash on Delivery Payment
Where COD applies, the customer must pay the applicable order amount through a payment method accepted by the delivery provider at the time of delivery.
The available method may vary depending upon the logistics provider.
Customers should verify the payable amount shown in their NGOBazaar order before making payment.
29. Delivery Attempts
A logistics provider may make one or more delivery attempts depending upon its operating procedures.
If delivery is unsuccessful, the provider may:
- attempt delivery again;
- contact the customer;
- hold the shipment temporarily;
- request updated delivery information; or
- return the shipment to the seller.
NGOBazaar cannot guarantee a particular number of delivery attempts unless expressly stated for the applicable shipment.
30. Failed Delivery
Delivery may fail because of circumstances including:
- customer unavailable;
- authorized recipient unavailable;
- incorrect address;
- incomplete address;
- invalid contact information;
- customer not responding;
- delivery location inaccessible;
- customer refusing delivery;
- payment not completed for a COD order;
- logistics disruption; or
- other delivery-related circumstances.
The shipment may subsequently be returned to the seller.
31. Return-to-Origin (RTO)
Where a shipment cannot be successfully delivered and is returned to the seller, it may be classified as Return-to-Origin ("RTO").
RTO may occur because of:
- unsuccessful delivery attempts;
- incorrect or incomplete address;
- customer unavailable;
- customer refusal;
- COD payment failure;
- logistics issues;
- damaged shipment;
- regulatory restrictions; or
- other delivery failures.
Any applicable refund for an RTO order will be handled in accordance with the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
32. Refusal of Delivery
Customers should refuse delivery where there is a reasonable and apparent reason to do so, such as a package that appears materially tampered with or severely damaged.
A customer who refuses an otherwise valid shipment without a legitimate reason may cause the shipment to be returned to the seller.
The treatment of any prepaid amount following such refusal will be governed by the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
33. Damaged Packages
If a package appears materially damaged at the time of delivery, the customer should, where reasonably possible:
- inspect the external condition;
- inform the delivery agent;
- refuse the package if its condition reasonably indicates serious product damage;
- retain available evidence; and
- report the issue to NGOBazaar.
If damage is discovered after accepting the package, the customer should submit an appropriate return or support request as soon as reasonably possible.
34. Tampered Packages
If a shipment appears to have been materially opened, altered, or tampered with before delivery, customers should report the matter promptly.
Where reasonably possible, customers should retain:
- photographs;
- packaging;
- shipping label;
- product;
- delivery information; and
- other available evidence.
NGOBazaar may coordinate an investigation with the seller and logistics provider.
35. Open-Box Delivery
Open-box delivery is available only where NGOBazaar expressly offers it for the relevant product and location.
Customers should not assume that a delivery agent is authorized to open a package before delivery unless the order specifically supports an open-box delivery service.
Where open-box delivery is offered, additional terms or verification procedures may apply.
36. Delayed Shipments
A shipment may occasionally be delayed because of circumstances such as:
- seller processing delay;
- courier capacity;
- transportation disruption;
- weather;
- natural disaster;
- public holiday;
- strikes;
- civil disturbance;
- regulatory restrictions;
- remote-area delivery;
- incorrect routing;
- operational disruption;
- force majeure; or
- other circumstances.
NGOBazaar may provide updated tracking or estimated delivery information where available.
37. Delivery Later Than the Stated Schedule
Where goods are delivered later than the stated delivery schedule, customer remedies will be handled in accordance with applicable law, this Policy, and the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
Where applicable law requires a seller to accept return or provide a refund because goods were delivered late, NGOBazaar and the applicable seller will process the request accordingly.
Any legally applicable exception, including an exception for delay caused by force majeure, will continue to apply.
38. Lost Shipments
A shipment may be considered lost where the applicable logistics investigation confirms that it cannot reasonably be located or delivered.
Where a prepaid shipment is confirmed as lost before delivery, NGOBazaar may coordinate an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- replacement, where available and appropriate; or
- refund.
The customer should not bear the financial loss for a shipment that was never delivered where responsibility for the loss lies within the seller, fulfillment, or logistics process.
39. Shipment Marked Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows a shipment as delivered but the customer has not received it, the customer should contact NGOBazaar as soon as reasonably possible.
NGOBazaar may investigate the matter using information such as:
- tracking records;
- proof of delivery;
- delivery timestamp;
- delivery confirmation;
- logistics-provider records;
- seller information; and
- customer-provided information.
Customers should also check whether the shipment was received by an authorized person at the delivery address.
An appropriate resolution will be determined after reasonable investigation and in accordance with applicable law.
40. Partial Delivery
An order containing multiple products may sometimes be shipped in separate packages.
As a result:
- products may have different tracking numbers;
- products may be dispatched at different times;
- products may be delivered on different dates; and
- different logistics providers may be used.
A partial delivery does not necessarily mean that the remaining items are missing.
Customers should check the shipment information for each item in the order.
41. Missing Item From a Delivered Package
If a package is delivered but an ordered item or essential component is missing, the customer should contact NGOBazaar through the applicable support or return process.
NGOBazaar may review:
- order information;
- package details;
- shipment weight;
- seller fulfillment records;
- logistics information;
- customer-provided evidence; and
- other relevant records.
An appropriate remedy will be provided where the claim is validated.
42. Incorrect Product Delivered
If the customer receives a product different from the product ordered, the customer should submit a return, replacement, or support request.
Customers should retain the incorrect product and its packaging until instructions are provided.
Eligible incorrect-product claims will be handled under the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
43. Delivery of Defective Products
Successful physical delivery does not mean that a customer loses the right to report a defect discovered after opening or using the product as reasonably necessary to identify the defect.
Defective-product claims will be handled in accordance with:
- the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy;
- applicable warranty terms; and
- applicable consumer law.
44. Remote and Difficult-to-Service Locations
Some locations may require additional delivery time because of:
- distance;
- limited courier networks;
- terrain;
- regional restrictions;
- weather;
- transportation schedules; or
- other operational factors.
Where a location cannot be serviced, NGOBazaar may cancel the affected order and process any applicable refund.
45. Restricted Delivery Areas
Delivery may be restricted or unavailable in areas affected by:
- legal restrictions;
- government orders;
- natural disasters;
- civil disturbances;
- security restrictions;
- transportation shutdowns;
- public-health restrictions; or
- other circumstances preventing safe or lawful delivery.
NGOBazaar may temporarily suspend deliveries to affected locations.
46. International Shipping
Unless expressly stated otherwise on NGOBazaar, standard Marketplace orders are intended for delivery within India.
International delivery is not automatically available.
If international shipping is introduced for particular products or locations, separate terms may apply regarding:
- international freight;
- customs;
- import duties;
- taxes;
- documentation;
- prohibited goods;
- delivery timelines; and
- returns.
Customers should rely on the delivery options presented during checkout.
47. Product Restrictions
Certain products may have special shipping restrictions because of:
- weight;
- dimensions;
- fragility;
- perishability;
- hazardous characteristics;
- regulatory classification;
- destination restrictions; or
- courier limitations.
Such products may not be deliverable to every location.
48. Shipping of Perishable or Time-Sensitive Products
If NGOBazaar permits the sale of perishable or time-sensitive products, additional shipping conditions may apply.
These may include:
- restricted delivery areas;
- shorter delivery windows;
- special packaging;
- temperature requirements;
- limited return eligibility; and
- product-specific handling requirements.
Applicable information should be displayed where relevant.
49. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- providing accurate delivery information;
- maintaining an active contact number;
- reviewing tracking information where available;
- being reasonably available for delivery;
- ensuring an authorized person can receive the shipment where appropriate;
- making COD payment where applicable;
- not sharing financial authentication credentials;
- reporting delivery problems promptly; and
- cooperating reasonably with legitimate delivery investigations.
50. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for:
- maintaining appropriate inventory;
- processing confirmed orders;
- selecting the correct product;
- packaging products appropriately;
- providing accurate shipment information;
- preparing shipments within applicable processing timelines;
- using required shipping documentation;
- making shipments available for pickup;
- cooperating with logistics investigations;
- responding to delivery-related issues; and
- complying with applicable Marketplace policies and law.
Repeated seller fulfillment failures may result in Marketplace action.
51. Logistics Provider Responsibilities
Third-party logistics providers perform transportation and delivery services according to their applicable operational procedures and service arrangements.
NGOBazaar may coordinate with logistics providers concerning:
- pickups;
- tracking;
- delivery attempts;
- shipment exceptions;
- damaged shipments;
- lost shipments;
- RTO; and
- delivery disputes.
NGOBazaar does not control every physical action of an independent logistics provider, but this does not exclude any responsibility that NGOBazaar has under applicable law.
52. Force Majeure
Shipping or delivery may be affected by events beyond the reasonable control of NGOBazaar, the seller, or logistics provider.
These may include:
- natural disasters;
- floods;
- earthquakes;
- severe weather;
- fire;
- epidemic or pandemic;
- war;
- terrorism;
- civil disturbance;
- strikes;
- governmental restrictions;
- transportation shutdowns;
- widespread telecommunications failures; or
- other comparable events beyond reasonable control.
Where such circumstances affect an order, NGOBazaar will take reasonable steps to communicate available information and determine the appropriate treatment of the order.
Nothing in this section removes consumer rights except to the extent an applicable law expressly provides for a force-majeure exception.
53. Delivery Disputes
Where a delivery dispute arises, NGOBazaar may request reasonable information from the customer, seller, and logistics provider.
An investigation may consider:
- tracking history;
- proof of delivery;
- delivery OTP records where applicable;
- package weight;
- seller dispatch information;
- delivery-agent information;
- photographs;
- shipment scans;
- customer statements; and
- other relevant evidence.
NGOBazaar will use the available information to determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with Marketplace policies and applicable law.
54. Refunds Related to Shipping
Refunds arising from:
- lost shipments;
- failed delivery;
- seller cancellation;
- unserviceable locations;
- damaged shipments;
- eligible late-delivery claims;
- RTO; or
- other shipping-related circumstances
will be processed in accordance with the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
55. Privacy and Delivery Information
NGOBazaar may share information reasonably necessary to complete delivery with the applicable:
- seller;
- logistics provider;
- courier;
- shipping technology provider; and
- other authorized service providers involved in fulfillment.
Such information may include:
- recipient name;
- delivery address;
- mobile number;
- order information;
- shipment information; and
- other information reasonably necessary for fulfillment.
Personal Data is otherwise handled in accordance with the NGOBazaar Privacy Policy.
56. Customer Support

Customers should provide relevant information such as:
